“After 8 months of being Erickee’s [sic] girlfriend I have to tell my followers that we have decided to break up and go our separate way,” she wrote. “There is no hard feelings or regrettees [sic], but I need to look in my own soul and focus on being the best Larissa I can be.”
Dos Santos Lima also admitted her relationship with Nichols may have been rushed. “I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in relationship with Erickee [sic] but I know now I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars. I not sure what will come of the future but I am excited for it.”

A few hours before the announcement, Dos Santos Lima posted four selfies on her Instagram feed, which included a hopeful caption. “There’s nothing broken so bad that you can’t put it back together again with enough effort,” it read. “I know what I must do to fix the delicate clockwork mechanism I have broken.”
Dos Santos Lima was a star on 90 Day Fiancé where she married Colt Johnson. The pair had a volatile relationship and alleged violent encounters before they split up, including an altercation that led to Dos Santos Lima’s arrest.
After her public breakup with Johnson in March, Dos Santos Lima seemed to find happiness with Nichols, whom she met on the dating app Tinder, according to In Touch magazine. The pair shared glimpses of their life together on social media in posts that had other 90 Day stars gushing in the comments.
Fellow season 6 star Leida Margaretha reacted to the “Break Up Note” post with disbelief. “You guys are adorable,” she wrote, followed by three crying emojis, “Why????”
Other Instagram users gave words of support. “‘I’m so proud of your decision,” commented @tem9653, “Take your time and take care of you. You are beautiful inside and out. You deserve the best of love.”
Others brought up Johnson in the comments and claimed he could be celebrating the breakup. Johnson did not immediately comment on Dos Santos Lima’s announcement. His mother, Debbie Johnson, also didn’t share any words on social media. Her involvement in the couple’s former relationship triggered issues on 90 Day Fiancé.
