What are the plots of the Amazing Stories episodes?
Apple TV+ is keeping the plots of most of the five Amazing Stories episodes under wraps until the release date, but some details have emerged about some of the stories. “The Cellar,” for example, was described in a now-deleted CBR review, seemingly accidentally released before the March 6 reviews embargo, as “a basic time-travel love story that seems designed to appeal to Outlander fans.”
“Dynoman and the Volt,” as revealed by the Amazing Stories trailer, sees Forster play a grandfather who develops superpowers. According to Indiewire, these powers come from a magic ring he and his grandson ordered from the back of a comic book.
“The Rift,” meanwhile, has been adapted from a Leno Carvalho comic book, the plot of which gives us some idea of what to expect from the series. The graphic novel sees Mary Ann (presumably played by Bishé) and her son Elijah’s (Duncan Joiner) lives changed forever when a World War II fighter pilot is seen through the eponymous rift in time.
