Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Import QR Codes and Clothes
There are a few different ways to input clothes into New Horizons. If you’ve got designs from the 3DS New Leaf or Happy Home Academy, you can input those into the newer game with QR codes. Download the Nintendo Online app for your smartphone and sign into your Nintendo Switch account. You’ll get access to your NookLink phone and the Designs button will let you scan these codes. QR codes only apply to these older games; sharing New Horizons takes a little more effort. Once a texture has been scanned, you can save the design to the Custom Designs slot for Pro-Designs.
In order to transfer outfits designed in New Horizons, you’ll need to construct the Able Sister’s Tailor shop and have a Nintendo Online subscription. Go to the back of the shop, where you’ll find a kiosk. Type in the creator ID code given to you and you’ll be able to download the clothing made by other players. If you want to share clothes of your own, you’ll need a creator ID code which should be given to you at the kiosk. If you don’t have the Online subscription, you can input the specifications of the clothing using a grid and a lot of time.
The amount of creativity New Horizons offers is staggering. Players can design nearly any type of clothing or outfit as long as it doesn’t break Nintendo’s terms of service. If you want a dress that looks like Bulbasaur or all the BTS albums as icons, somebody has already made that for you.
