Fishing has a few benefits in Animal Crossing: New Horizons: You candonate your catches to Blathers’ museum and—most importantly—sell them at the shop for Bells. This form of currency gives players money to purchase furniture, clothing options and much more. (Not to mention pay off the debt to Tom Nook for sending you to the island and paying for a home.)
Here’s a guide to every fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, including how much they’ll get you at the shop and where and when to find them.
ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS FISH SELLING PRICE
There are 80 different species of fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Each one is unique in not just how they look but when and where they can be found.
Certain species only appear at certain times of the day or month of the year. Others can only be found in special locations like ponds or oceans. With an island to explore, players will want to constantly check every day to see if they find something new.
If you want to find a specific fish, check out our list of every species in the game, including how much they sell for, what body of water they can be fished from and the time and month they appear in (for the Northern Hemisphere).
