Animal Crossing New Horizons Pirate Gulliver Basics Every New Item

When Animal Crossing: New Horizons first dropped, Gulliver could be found lying on the beach of your new island. After some prodding, Gulliver would wake up and you’re tasked with helping him find his way back to the boat where he works.

However, with the new summer update Gulliver has changed occupations and is now a pirate. Long gone are Gulliver’s blue and white sailor outfit, replaced by a red pirate one.

Animal Crossing players will want to read on to know what to do if you encounter this swashbuckling seagull.

WHAT TO DO WITH PIRATE GULLIVER

Pirate Gulliver, like the original, will appear randomly on the shores of your island. Players will want to periodically check the island to see if Gulliver has washed ashore, and if he has you’ll want to do the same as before.

Poke and prod Gulliver until he has used up all of his dialogue and he’ll eventually wake up to explain his situation. Like before his communication device has broken and you’ll need to dig up the pieces on the beach.

There are five pieces to find and you can dig them up with a shovel on areas where water is spouting out of the sand.

Once you’ve found all five pieces, bring them back to Pirate Gulliver and he’ll thank you with a reward. This time around, Gulliver will present you with a pirate-themed item that will be sent to your mailbox the next day.

PIRATE GULLIVER ITEMS

There are 27 different pirate-themed items that Gulliver can give you during the summer update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The items range from coats, eyepatches to barrels with the skull and crossbones on them. They are unique and will help any player who is looking to dress up like a pirate or build a pirate-themed home or island.
