Given the small size and stealth release of this latest update for Apex Legends, it’s no surprise patch 1.15 doesn’t feature much in the way of content. Judging by the release notes, the biggest reason for the deployment of this tiny download is the discovery of a Havoc exploit that would essentially allow the gun to fire forever. The flaw had only been in the wild for a few days, but it was already beginning to disrupt the multiplayer meta for diehard fans. Especially for a game like Apex that relies so heavily on team composition, any bug that throws off that balance should be rectified quickly.
As for what’s not in the update, annoying bugs with repeat heal animations have apparently not been addressed. That being said, it’s possible there are some tweaks not officially listed in the notes. Apex Legends Season 2 enjoyed a fairly flawless launch earlier this month. Update 1.15 exists to fix a few of its lingering issues.
Apex Legends is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
