A theory started by blogger Reality Steve claims one of Weber’s final two candidates has a hometown full of drama that could influence Weber’s ability to propose.

Spoilers claim Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss are Weber’s final two choices. However, there aren’t spoilers on who he eventually chooses. Weber has even teased that it’s impossible to spoil this season for a specific reason. Whatever that reason is, fans likely won’t know until the finale.

Prewett’s hometown is specifically difficult. Reality Steve outlined Weber and Prewett’s date in a blog post from January, complete with fan photos of the pair spotted filming. It appears Prewett took Weber to Auburn’s campus, where she went to college.

Later in the night, Weber is expected to have met Prewett’s family. It’s unknown if Prewett’s family liked Weber. Spoilers claim whatever their reaction is, Weber did not get the blessing to marry Prewett from her father.

This scenario has happened in previous Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons, so it’s possible the lack of blessing has no ties to the finale. It’s also possible Weber didn’t want to propose until Prewett’s father approved and extended filming past the normal finale to gain her family’s trust.

Reality Steve has outlined a handful of other theories, including that Sluss wins. What the spoiler blogger knows is Weber did not propose on the show’s planned finale like expected. He is expected to be engaged, or at least in a relationship, with one of the final two candidates anyway.

Fans have posed some other theories. At the start of the season, many expected former Bachelorette Hannah Brown would come into the picture again. Reality Steve denied this and claimed Brown has nothing to do with Weber’s ending.

A more recent theory claims Weber ended up with one of the show’s producers, Julie LaPlaca. Fans clung to this idea from a handful of social media posts that showed the two spending holidays like New Year’s Eve together. Reality Steve slammed the theory on his Twitter account Saturday:

“Gonna make this as simple as possible for every1 [sic] since it’s all I get asked now,” he wrote. “It’s garbage, there is absolutely nothing to this, it makes zero sense & people are desperately grasping at straws bc the ending isn’t out yet.”

The Bachelor finale is expected to air in March.
