Viewers of season 24 of the CBS reality show have accused the duo of using the recent discussions of racism to further their chances in the competition.

Houseguest Kyle Capener has been at the center of the drama in the series, with the contestant recently admitting to his co-stars that his decisions and alliances in the game have been “rooted in race.”

His confession came after fans said that producers were protecting him by “hiding Kyle’s racism,” and, on social media, some have called the 29-year-old “KKKyle.”

Kyle’s revelation, and subsequent discussions with his black co-stars Monte Taylor and Terrance Higgins, were shown on the Big Brother live feed, available via Paramount +.

But on the August 31 episode of Big Brother, which showed footage from before Kyle’s confession earlier this week, Brittany and Michael were the ones to expose Kyle’s comments regarding only forming alliances with his white housemates.

Fans have been left unimpressed with Brittany and Michael’s actions as the conversations between them and Kyle had happened weeks before, and viewers are not happy that Brittany and Michael kept the information to themselves all this time.

Taking to Twitter as the episode aired, fans accused Brittany and Michael of only sharing the information to try to make themselves look better, and not because they were concerned by Kyle’s comments.

One posted: “Michael and Brittany only exposed Kyle to the house to keep their asses in the game NOT because it was the right thing to do…they are NO better a than he is! #BB24 #BigBrother #BigBrother24.”

Another Twitter user wrote: “Casuals, you had better REALIZE that Michael and Brittany held onto this info until it was convenient for them to expose it. They are not heroes. They didn’t expose this for moral reasons. It was ALL GAME. #BB24.”

“As bad as Kyle’s comments were, Michael and Brittany are not innocent. If this was weighing so heavy on their hearts they should have brought it up immediately. #bb24 #bigbrother,” added a third.

Meanwhile, on Big Brother, Kyle and Taylor Hale are both up for eviction, with Brittany, Monte and Michael planning to send Kyle home.

Terrance is considering keeping him, but it’s unclear which way Alyssa Snider, who has been involved in a ‘showmance’ with Kyle, will vote. Matthew Turner is not eligible to vote as he is this week’s Head of Household.

Big Brother fans will need to watch on September 1 to find out which houseguest will be packing their bags and heading home.

Big Brother airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on CBS.
