What time does the Borderlands 3 Designer’s Cut update release?
According to an official tweet published Thursday morning, the Borderlands 3 Designer’s Cut DLC is expected to go live around 8 a.m. EST November 9. At that time, users on PS4, Xbox One and PC should be able to download and purchase the content from their respective storefronts.
It’s worth noting that you must purchase the DLC on launch day, as there are no preloads available. The Designer’s Cut DLC costs $14.99 as a standalone download or $29.99 when included with Season Pass 2. It’s assumed an in-game client update of some kind will be necessary to unlock the new content, but that has not been officially confirmed.
What to expect from Borderlands 3 Designers Cut
For those who’ve been out of the loop with regard to Borderlands 3 news, here’s a quick recap of everything you can expect to get as part of the latest download.
New Skill Trees: Each Vault Hunter gets a fourth Skill Tree with new Action Skills. FL4K [Trapper Skill Tree]: A defensive-focused Skill Tree. Features the Gravity Snare Action Skill and the Hyperion Loaderbot pet. Amara [Enlightened Force Skill Tree]: A Skill Tree focused on elemental damage with the Phaseflare Action Skill. Moze [Bear Moher Skill Tree]: An incendiary damage tree focused on dual-wielding and gunplay. The Iron Cub Action Skill fights alongside Iron Bear. Zane [The Professional Skill Tree]: This tree is designed for ability stacking aided by the MNTIS Shoulder Cannon Action Skill. Arms Race: In this new game mode, players set their desired gear level then enter a predetermined map. Avoid the Murdercane circle area, which shrinks at increasingly fast intervals, while collecting loot and fighting enemies along the way. You start with nothing and work your way toward a big boss battle at the center of the map. In many ways, this is PvE battle royale.
That’s all we know about Borderlands 3 Designer’s Cut for now, but you can get an in-depth look at each of the new skill trees by visiting the individual character pages for FL4K, Amara, Zane and Moze.
