What time does the February 25 Black Ops Cold War multiplayer free week start?
According to an official Call of Duty blog post on the subject, the Black Ops Cold War free multiplayer week runs February 25 at 1 p.m. EST through March 4 at 1 p.m. EST. Shortly after the above-listed hour strikes, players should be given access to the free demo download.
During past free multiplayer weeks it has taken an extra 30 minutes to an hour for the demo to be widely accessible across the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Battle.net, so be patient if you don’t see listings right away. How to download the free multiplayer and Outbreak demo
Similar to previous free weekends for Black Ops Cold War, this one will operate off a demo accessible via the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live or Batlle.net. The demo isn’t available to pre-load, so you’ll have to wait for it to show up on digital storefronts to start playing.

Those who have access to Warzone might also find the demo by opening the in-game store and selecting the “franchise store.” If available, the demo may be listed as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Free Access Week or something similar. As stated above, it may take a while for the demo to completely deploy. Thankfully, everyone has a full week to enjoy it.
What multiplayer and Zombies content can I access for free?
Just like all previous Call of Duty free access weeks, there’s a wide assortment of content for players to enjoy across multiple modes. Here’s a quick recap of everything the demo contains.
Outbreak: A new large-scale Zombies experience set in the Ural Mountains. Squads of four players work together to complete a variety of challenges in an effort to survive through exfil. This incarnation of Zombies is more of a horde mode and less of an Easter egg hunt for now. Onslaught [PlayStation]: In this PlayStation-exclusive mode, duos battle hordes of Zombies on traditional 6v6 multiplayer maps. Apocalypse 24/7: Speaking of 6v6 multiplayer, the demo also features the new Apocalypse multiplayer map debuting in Season 2. It’s set in the jungles of Laos and is suitable for TDM, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint. Gun Game: Players earn new weapons for getting kills. Progress through a rotation of 20 guns on multiple maps. Other playlists: The other playlists include:2V2 Gunfight Blueprints: Battle duos with random loadouts of new Season 2 weapon blueprints. Face Off: 3v3 queues for TDM, Domination and Kill Confirmed. TDM and Domination: Each mode gets its own dedicated queue. Nuketown 24/7: The classic returns. Fireteam: Enjoy 40-player multiplayer maps with vehicles and varied objectives.
