While none of these fixes are particularly earth-shattering in terms of their contribution to gameplay, they do tackle some of the biggest issues reported by Modern Warfare enthusiasts over the past few days. Piccadilly in particular has proven to be a site of controversy, as its predictable spawn points have given rise to rampant camping in certain modes. In a similar fashion, the 725 shotgun has remained so powerful for its own good that it had become a crutch for inexperienced players to easily exploit. The updates found in version 1.08 are super critical ones, so we’re glad Infinity Ward implemented them quickly.

Today’s small bug fix arrives just days after Infinity Ward released update version 1.07. In addition to offering similar balance tweaks to guns like the 725, that large download also introduced Krovnik Farmland and Shoot House maps to the game as well. Unfortunately today’s update doesn’t offer any such features, but fans will appreciate its contents nonetheless.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
