Just like all previous Intel missions before this one, we suggest playing in Plunder as it has less impact on rank and allows for respawns if you happen to die at any point in your search. We also recommend quitting and starting up a new lobby after finding each clue, as Warzone seems to have trouble triggering the “collect intel” command multiple times in a match. With that disclaimer out of the way, let’s get to the intel locations!
Warzone Old Wounds Intel Locations
Unlike previous intel missions that have featured clues all throughout Verdansk, this one is situated only inside Prison. That should really help narrow your search if our images don’t offer enough context.
Location 1: The very first clue shows a picture of this desk in a dark office. To get there, simply enter the Prison through one of the bottom drain pipes and work your way up several flights of stairs to the top. You’ll come to the command center area, which houses the desk.
Location 2: The second clue directs you to the second floor prison cells on B-block. If you’re having trouble finding the right floor, just look for the big letter “B” sign. Keep going through all the cells, and you’ll find that one of them features intel between the radiator and the sink.
Location 3: The third bit of intel is found around the second floor showers, but it’s not quite where you think. It’s basically above the main locker room area with all the stalls, closer to the cells. You’ll see a bunch of small bathrooms like this, one of which is blocked off. Just search above the toilet tank to find your intel.
Location 4: This clue directs you to the office above the entrance, and that’s precisely where you must go. This area of the Prison is accessed easiest when landing directly there. Above the big bridge going into the building, you’ll find a roof area with a bunch of vents and a ladder going down. Climb down the ladder and go through the room on the left. You’ll see a bunch of desks, one of which is well lit and has a painting behind it. That one has your fourth intel.
Location 5: The last clue takes you to the A Block cells which are on the floor above where you found clue number two. Once again, if you get lost, look for the large “A” sign on the wall. Inside cell A3 is this box next to the bed. That’s your last piece of intel.
Those are technically all the intel locations you need to complete the Old Wounds mission, but fans have found a few other strange objects worth noting.
Bonus Intel 1: The last piece of intel is a map directing you to this spot in Verdansk. It’s an out-of-bounds drain pipe near a little bridge, and it presumably implies that this pipe is how Woods escaped from Verdansk.
Bonus Intel 2: Weirder still is the backpack found here, which can’t even be picked up by the player without risking death. It may have some relation to the Black Ops Cold War reveal event on August 26, but for now it’s just a cool Easter egg.
