Version 1.11 was released early Thursday and promises to restore item randomization and a major bug caused by the last update, which affected some users’ holocall with Takemura in the Down on the Street quest.

CD Projekt Red released the patch notes along with the update, which you can read below.

CYBERPUNK 2077 VERSION 1.11 PATCH NOTES

This update addresses two issues that appeared after Patch 1.1:

Item randomization has been restored to the previous state.

The save/load loot exploit will be investigated further.

A bug in the Down on the Street quest has been fixed.

The problem occurred for some players when using a save made during the quest on version 1.06 at the objective “Wait For Takemura’s call.” After loading such a save on version 1.1, the holocall would lack dialogue options and block interactions with other NPCs.

The last version of Cyberpunk 2077 was the first “major” update planned for the game in 2021. Earlier this month, CD Projekt Red released a roadmap of scheduled updates and plans for Cyberpunk 2077.

Of course, the studio’s priority is to get Cyberpunk 2077 to a playable state, especially on PS4 and Xbox One. Since the game’s release in December, the current-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 have been nearly unplayable with game-breaking bugs and visual issues that have plagued one of the most-anticipated releases of 2020.

The launch was so bad that PlayStation removed the title from its digital store and both Sony and Microsoft offered full refunds to those who purchased the game.

Retailers like Best Buy also gave refunds for physical versions of Cyberpunk 2077, even if the game was opened and played.

Version 1.1 was released on January 22 with the next update, version 1.2, set to come after, possibly as soon as February. When the roadmap was released, CD Projekt Red stated that the second update would be larger and more significant.

CD Projekt Red also has a free DLC planned for the first half of 2021 and a proper next-gen release in the second half of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
