In fact, DWTS fans will have to wait a week before the first couple goes home. There was no fan vote in the premiere episode, with only the judges’ vote taking place. In week two, fans will get to vote for the first time. These votes will be combined with the judges’ scores for week one and two to determine who is the first to leave.

As such, the first Dancing with the Stars Season 29 elimination will be next Tuesday, September 22, when the episode will air at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on ABC. Though there is no Monday episode next week, episodes from September 28 will air on Monday and Tuesday nights. The dances will take place on Mondays, when the lines are expected to open for voting, and eliminations will be on Tuesdays.

After the first round of dances, two pairs are in trouble. Carole Baskin has the lowest score of all after failing to impress with her paso doble to (of course) “Eye of the Tiger.” Former NBA power forward Charles Oakley, meanwhile, only scored 12 for his first salsa.

Leading the DWTS pack currently, meanwhile, are Disney Channel star Skai Jackson and One Day at a Time’s Justina Machado, both of whom scored 21 for their respective first dances.

The current leaderboard is as follows:

Skai Jackson & Alan Bersten: 21Justina Machado & Sasha Farber: 21Nev Schulman & Jenna Johnson: 20Kaitlyn Bristowe & Artem Chigvintsev: 20Monica Aldama & Valentin Chmerkovskiy: 19Anne Heche & Keo Motsepe: 18Jeannie Mai & Brandon Armstrong: 18AJ McLean & Cheryl Burke: 18Jesse Metcalfe & Sharna Burgess: 18Johnny Weir & Britt Stewart: 18Vernon Davis & Peta Murgatroyd: 17Nelly & Daniella Karagach: 16Chrishell Stause & Gleb Savchenko: 13Charles Oakley & Emma Slater: 12Carole Baskin & Pasha Pashkov: 11

According to GoldDerby, Oakley is currently the favorite to be the first eliminated, with odds of 4/1 that he will be first to go. Fans will have to tune in next Tuesday, however, to see who is first to leave the ABC show.
