Where is Destiny 2’s August 20 Ascendant Challenge Located?
The Ascendant Challenge for this week is located in the Spine off Keres at the main Dreaming City spawn where Oracle offerings are placed. The portal is located on top of some rocks.
Completing the August 20 Ascendant Challenge
This is a fairly easy Ascendant Challenge regardless if you get the version with Taken Mines or Taken Boops. This one can definitely be completed solo at an average Power level.
Independent of enemy type, your goal is to jump up the platforms to reach the top of the arena. On that roof, a Taken Phalanx will spawn with a few extra adds.
Once you beat him, the chest spawns in the central platform.
Lore and Toland Locations for August 20
Toland’s location changes based on your version of the challenge. If you have Boops, Toland is halfway up on the scary tree-like thing to the right. With Mines, he’s on the left towards the middle on the rocks.
The Ahamkara Bone piece is inside the hand of the second broken statue in the back of the arena. Jump down from here.
