Where is Destiny 2’s September 24 Ascendant Challenge Located
The Gardens of Esila are marked on this map. Go through the Devalian Mists and take a right towards the Strand. The Gardens are just one more right from there.
If you’ve popped some Tincture of Queensfoil (earned by doing activities around the Dreaming City) you’ll eventually see the portal.
Completing the September 24 Ascendant Challenge
At the location, three waypoints direct you toward orbs. To complete the challenge, just dunk all three orbs in the center of the arena. After clearing out the remaining adds, the Powerful Gear is yours.

While you can ignore these initially, use Tether to delay the chase for as long as possible.
There’s an orb at the top. Jump down to the left and Toland will be waiting for you.
The dunk spot becomes a Super well once all three orbs have been placed. So just spam to clear out the straggling enemies. If you’re doing the Ascendant Challenge as a team, make sure everyone’s alive before spawning the Chest.
Lore and Toland Locations for September 24
Egg 1: From the exit portal, take the path to the right which takes you up.
Egg 2: Near the central portal, look for the large stacks of pillars like this. You’ll pass through two similar structures, Just after the second one, look to the left and you’ll see an egg off to the side in the distance.
Ahamkara Bone: Go all the way back up to the path you went for Egg 1 and pass behind the spawn portal to reach this juncture.
When you do, jump to the rock platform to the left of the door. At the edge of that platform, look down and you may see the glowing bone. Jump down there to get it.
