With Corridors of time in mind, the first step is to get that finished by entering all 21 codes in their desired order while in the “explore the Corridors of Time” quest phase. For more info on that, check out our updated Corridors of Time guide. The hardest part is not dying while these codes are being entered, but, with a skilled team of Guardians, the task should be fairly straightforward.

Once you enter the code, approach the grave and pay respects there. After some dialogue you’ll get an Exotic part that must be turned in to Saint-14. You should get a new Exotic quest afterward, but, if you don’t, you must first complete the past Impossible Task Saint-14 missions to meet and save the character.

Memento

This step requires Guardians to hunt down five Fallen Captains or Servitors anywhere in the Tangled Shore. You can find two of these in the opening area of the Tangled Shore. You might also want to consider the Empty Tank Lost Sector, which has a guaranteed Servitor in the back. A Captain also spawns at the start of the Hallowed Lair strike too.

Next Guardians have to talk to Spider to get a new step that involves killing Aksiniks at the Empty Tank Lost Sector. Go there, make your way through the sector and you’ll encounter a new boss at the end. Kill him and talk to Spider again to get a new quest step.

This is a three-pronged task, but many of the objectives are self-explanatory. You need to complete 10 Spider Bounties, kill 30 Challenging Enemies (in the Tangled Shore) and finish eight Public Events (in the Tangled Shore). For those who don’t know, Challenging Enemies are mini-bosses, which means working your way through Heroic Public Events should help. If you stick to Heroic you’ll also only have to finish four Public Events instead of eight.

The next step takes you to the Trapper’s Cave Lost Sector in Four-Horn Gulch. In the sector you’ll come to this waterfall area.

Simply hop down, as shown in this picture, and the grave you seek will be found there. If you need extra help, use the video above. Just look for the shiny rocks in the corner.

The last step of the Memento quest involves finishing a special version of the Hallowed Lair strike. Go through as normal, damage the boss a few times and you’ll see text that reads “Defiled Reysk, the Waning Light has risen.” Go to the right area of the arena to find and kill him. Once you do you can exit the strike. Now, just go see Saint-14 and he’ll give you the Bastion Kinetic Fusion Rifle.

Destiny 2 Bastion Review

Now that you’ve finally finished the quest, here’s a quick review of Bastion’s perks.

Saint’s Fists: Charge to fire three spreads of Kinetic slugs. Breakthrough: A portion of this weapon’s damage bypasses elemental shields. Hammer-Forged Rifling Barrel: Increases range. Liquid Coils Battery: Increases impact damage, slower charge time. Composite Stock: Slightly increases stability and handling.

With its unique class typing, this is essentially the first time Guardians are able to run double Fusion Rifle. The gun also predictably outputs tons of damage in its own right. That being said, low range and a long charge time make this weapon hard to recommend for PvP activities. If you want to shred through Majors in PvE, though, this is a solid option to have in your arsenal. It’s fun to use and it packs plenty of firepower.
