What time does Destiny 2 Beyond Light release?
For all intents and purposes, Destiny 2 Beyond Light will be live on all platforms by 12 p.m. EST November 10. However, as usual, Bungie has outlined a more detailed maintenance schedule that fans might want to make note of.
November 9 at 9:50 p. m. EST: Sign-ins will be disabled. November 9 at 10 p. m. EST: Destiny 2 will be brought fully offline for system maintenance. November 10 at 12 p. m. EST: The Destiny 2 3. 0. 0. 1 update will begin rolling out on all platforms.
What about preloads?
Given that rather extensive server downtime, Bungie is thankfully giving users a chance to preload the Beyond Light content in advance of its release. Here’s what you should know about preloads on all platforms.
PS4: Preloads begin November 8 at 11 p. m. EST. Start the preload by pressing Options > Check for Updates on the Destiny 2 icon of your home screen. (171. 68GB required)Xbox One, Series X|S: The preload should begin shortly after 10 p. m. EST November 9 as long as automatic updates are enabled. (65. 7 GB required)PC: The PC version should also begin preloads at 10 p. m. EST November 9 as long as your client is launched at that time and has automatic updates enabled. (188. 2 GB required)

What to expect from Destiny 2 Beyond Light
For Guardians who may be out of the loop, here’s a quick recap of everything fans can expect to see when Beyond Light launches November 10.
A new campaign and Destination: Journey to Europa to discover the secrets of the Darkness in a series of new scripted missions. Stasis: A new dark subclass is unlocked. Play as the Titan Behemoth, Warlock Shadebinder or Hunter Revenant. Stasis powers are ice-inspired. Salvation’s Grip Exotic: The quest opens up, presumably as part of the new campaign. New Empire Hunts activityNew Glassway StrikeNew Cosmodrome experience: New Guardians can start their game in a totally refreshed tutorial inspired by the original Destiny. New update: The 3. 0. 0. 1 update will feature a wide variety of changes including Sandbox tweaks, Gambit turning and more. We’ll detail those changes in greater detail when the full patch notes arrive.
