Devil’s Ruin Review

Once you have the weapon, here’s a quick review of its perks.

Close the Gap: Variable Trigger: Press and release to fire individual shots. Hold to charge up a high-powered staggering laser against unstoppable enemies. Extended Barrel: Increase range, decrease handling speed, moderately controls recoil. Projection Fuse: Increase range. Pyrogenesis: Fully charging the laser refills magazine. Combat Grip: Greatly controls recoil.

With these perks Devil’s Ruin is an awesome sidearm that’s almost two guns in one. It has a standard sidearm form that fires individual bullets, but it can also act as a fusion rifle of sorts when the laser is held down. With its perfectly maxed-out recoil, it stands to be one of the best sidearms in Destiny 2 right now. In short, this is a great reward in PvE and PvP alike, which makes it all the more forgiving that the quest is so easy to finish.

Destiny 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
