Stat Values

Like other seasons of Destiny 2, Season of Dawn starts on something of a whimper before introducing players to more substantial content drops over the next few weeks. Highlight among the new additions is a six-player matchmade activity called the Sundial, which sounds a lot like a more varied version of the Menagerie activity that first made its debut in June. Rather than fighting off waves of enemies and a single boss each time, however, the Sundial offers different challenges, enemies and objectives as the task evolves. Like the Menagerie, though, there will be plenty of cool rewards up for grabs. Season Pass owners can also expect new Exotic quests and a simpler grind toward the highly sought after Seasonal Artifact.
Update 2.7.0 introduces several tweaks like a reworked Engram system and additional Bounties, but the biggest feature of all is a complete overhaul of all three Solar trees. Changes to Gunslinger make the class less-PvE focused by offering more differentiation between the three-shot and six-shot Golden Guns. Subreaker gets some pretty big ability buffs to make its melee focus more useful overall, while Dawnblade shifts its emphasis to enhanced player movement. There isn’t much here by way of weapon balance, but nerfs to the One-Eyed Mask and Recluse are sure to be hot topics of discussion.
