The Huckleberry [Primary SMG - 29 Legendary Shards] : With its Ride the Bull perk, rate of fire and recoil increase while pulling the trigger. Perhaps most critically, the magazine reloads after kills. In other words, if you’re a good shot, you never have to reload. In the current meta this is favored as a PvE gun with an exceptionally worthwhile Catalyst. If you’re looking to raid or try your hand at the EAZ, this is a nice gun to have at your side. St0mp-EE5 [Hunter Leg Armor - 23 Legendary Shards]: Its Hydraulic Boosters increase sprint speed and slide distance. It also improves your High Jump, Strafe Jump and Triple Jump. In the recent Hunter meta, this is a solid choice for Guardians who don’t have much in the way of mobility gear. The St0mp-EE5 won’t be super-useful against AI in PvE, but it sure helps make a quick getaway against human foes. Especially with the Traction roll this week, you can’t go wrong. Fusion Rifle Dexterity - Submachine Gun Dexterity - TractionArrow Scavenger - Scout Rifle ScavengerOne-Eyed Mask [Titan Helmet - 23 Legendary Shards]: This desirable helmet has the Vengeance perk, which tracks enemies that damage you. Destroying the targeted foe offers increased damage and overshield. This Exotic has become infamous for being seriously OP in PvP even after recent nerfs. In other words, those hoping to have some fun in Crucible over the weekend are about to be very disappointed. The Hand Cannon Targeting roll is the one to watch out for. Pulse Rifle Targeting - Pump Action - Enhanced Hand Cannon TargetingLinear Fusion Rifle Reserves - Special Ammo FinderWinter’s Guile [Warlock Gauntlets 23 Legendary Shards]: The main benefit of Winter’s Guile is the option to stack increased damage for melee kills. If you’re a melee-focused class or play lots of PvE, this is well worth considering. Rocket Launcher Loader - Momentum Transfer - Enhanced Impact InductionShotgun Scavenger - Sniper Rifle ScavengerFive of Swords: This is a Nightfall Challenge Card that can raise or lower the Power handicap to fit your needs. Raising the handicap increases your score multiplier. The World [Invitation of the Nine - Nine Legendary Shards]Complete the Lake of Shadows Strike. Collect Nine Fallen Samples. Collect Nine Cabal Samples. Collect Nine Taken Samples.
As far as Xur inventories are concerned, this one is fairly strong and well-tuned to the most important tasks in the game right now. Considering the PvE emphasis of Solstice, the Huckleberry is a great SMG to have at your side. If PvP is more your style, though, the St0mp-EE5 and One-Eyed Mask are go-to options. All types of players in all classes can benefit from Xur this weekend, which means he’ll likely be making lots of sales. The only way you’d spring for an Engram today is if you have a roll of this gear that you’re already comfortable with.
