Issues began shortly after Warlords of New York’s early-access launch on Monday. Once players gain access to the four districts of New York City, they’re told to speak to a Community Leader NPC. This might include new characters like the sassy Vivian Conely or the church Community Leader. Unfortunately, no matter how many times Agents hit the required button to do so, nothing happened. This essentially stalled progress in the DLC for the first 12 hours of its release.

As of about 5 a.m. EST on Tuesday, however, Ubisoft has published a tweet suggesting the problem has been solved. “Agents, we deployed the fix for the Community Leader NPCs not working and you should be able to continue your hunt for Aaron Keener,” the tweet reads. The publisher also acknowledged other Warlords of New York bugs in the process, saying “We are continuing work on other issues mentioned by our players and please report any bugs or issues you might still encounter. "

With that in mind, fans are still having a hard time enjoying everything Warlords of New York has to offer. At the time of publish, a small number of Xbox One players are unable to log in to the game or access their characters. On a more widespread basis, Control Point Officer NPCs are still experiencing the exact same interaction bug previously seen in Community Leaders. While Ubisoft expects a subsequent patch to solve these shortcomings over the next few hours or day, it’s safe to say the arrival of Warlords of New York has been anything but perfect.

The post-launch bugs for Warlords of New York might have something to do with the fact that the DLC went live on all platforms a full day earlier than originally anticipated. While PC players were expected to get their hands on the content first, it also went live at the same time on PS4 and Xbox One Monday afternoon. It’s unclear if the version that went public was possibly unfinished, but it certainly wasn’t fit for release. Earlier this morning, Division 2 servers were taken offline for four hours to address errors and progression blockers.

Despite its litany of bugs and glitches, however, Warlords of New York promises to offer major changes to the established Division 2 formula. Its highlight additions include several new campaign missions, a totally reworked Gear system, Crafting changes, a raised level cap and much more. This expansion does cost an additional $30 on top of the base game, but that base game can still be purchased for as low as $3 on many digital storefronts. This content seems like a lot of fun, but lack of polish prevents most players from having a good first impression of it.

The Division 2 is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Warlords of New York is live now.
