Moved general pool Exotics from mission final boss loot to mission completion rewardsThis means that an Exotic that drops as loot from a final boss in a mission will either be the Exotic specific to the mission (e. g. These extra random Exotics can still be awarded with the same frequency but are acquired as an Exotic Cache from the mission completion rewards instead.

Fixed a delay between the EMP Sticky Bomb exploding and the start of the cooldown. While the odds-and-ends bug fixes for Title Update 10.1 will likely be important to some, the most impactful adjustments in this patch revolve around loot drops and tweaks to the Hive. Starting with loot, it’s nice to see that just about every drop will be a higher quality than it was before. Doling out Exotics as end of mission rewards also makes a lot more sense, as it ensures the player doesn’t miss an important item in the heat of battle. NPCs remain as punishing as ever in The Division 2, so giving Agents access to better loot at all times should make the hardest grinds less stingy in the future. Of course, fans will need to see these changes in action to know how major they truly are.
As for the Hive, the notes reveal lots of rebalancing, but much of the overhaul will only impact those at skill tiers 6 and below. The intent is to nerf the Hive in such a way that it encourages players to move beyond the sixth level to achieve a greater benefit. But, if you’re a dedicated Division player who’s already moved past that threshold, there shouldn’t be too much sting in terms of range. Nerfs are hardly a good thing whenever they happen, but maybe the loot buff will be enough of a distraction to counteract some of the sorrow.
