Season 4 ended with Guzmán (played by Miguel Bernardeau) shooting Armando (Andrés Velencoso), Ari’s (Carla Díaz) attacker, dead with a firework and dumping his body in the lake with the help of Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) and Rebe (Claudia Salas).
Season 5 will follow Rebe and Samuel continuing to cover up their crimes as they return for another term at Las Encinas. A new school term means some new students and a whole load more problems.

Meet The New Cast Members in ‘Elite’
Isadora — Valentina Zenere
Argentinian actor Valentina Zenere joins the cast of Elite as Spain’s IT girl and Instagram star, Isadora, who becomes close to Phillipe von Triesberg (played by Pol Granch).
Fans of Elite will most likely recognize Zenere from her role as Camila Salvador in Netflix’s Cable Girls.
She is also well known for playing Ámbar Smith in Disney’s Soy Luna.
Iván — André Lamoglia
Newcomer André Lamoglia plays the role of Iván, a new student at Las Encinas who happens to be the son of the most famous footballer in the world.
Brazilian actor Lamoglia is best known for starring in Disney Channel’s Juacas, alongside Elite co-star Zenere.
Meet the Characters Returning to ‘Elite’ Season 5
Samu — Itzan Escamilla
Itzan Escamilla is one of Elite’s original characters who is still going strong in the world of Las Encinas.
A student on a scholarship, Samu is still trying to prove he has a place at Las Encinas while fighting for his relationship with Ari in Season 5.
Escamilla is best known as Francisco in Las Chicas del Cable, also known as Cable Girls.
Omar — Omar Ayuso
Omar Ayuso, who has also been a part of the Elite family since the very beginning has returned for Season 5.
At the end of Season 4, Omar was left heartbroken after his on-and-off-again boyfriend Ander (Arón Piper) left Spain to go traveling with his best friend Guzman. They both agreed they would explore new relationships while they were apart, but will Omar stick to his side of the deal?
Season 1 of Elite marked Ayuso’s acting debut. He will star in the upcoming film 8 Años.
Rebe — Claudia Salas
Claudia Salas returns as Rebe, the coolest girl in school in Elite Season 5.
Rebe was a part of the cover-up with Samu to help dump Armando’s body and she will be trying to keep this a secret going forward.
Salas’ other credits include Ruta del Bakalao, Seis hermanas and Piggy.
Caye — Georgina Amorós
Georgina Amorós returns as Caye, the janitor of Las Encinas with an eye for design.
In Season 4, Caye was assaulted by Phillipe, and Season 5 will see her make sure it will never happen to another girl again.
Amorós has appeared in Welcome to the Family. She most recently starred in Woody Allen’s film Rifkin’s Festival, her first English-speaking role.
Ari — Carla Díaz
Carla Díaz returns as Ari, who dearly died at the end of Season 4 at the hands of the evil Armando.
Díaz is a former child star familiar to Spanish viewers for her roles in Madres. Amor y vida, Seis hermanas and Tierra de lobos.
Mencía — Martina Cariddi
Martina Cariddi is back as Mencía, Ari’s sister who was sexually involved with Armando before his death.
Cariddi’s other acting credits include The Invisible Guardian and While at War.
Patrick — Manu Ríos
Manu Ríos is back as Patrick, Ari and Mencía’s troublesome brother who loves sex, drugs, boys, and a whole load of fun.
Elite marked Ríos’ return to television after a seven-year hiatus. He previously starred in Pepe’s Beach Bar as a teenager.
Benjamín — Diego Martin
Diego Martin has reprised his role as Ari, Patrick and Mencía’s strict father Benjamín, who also happens to be the head teacher of Las Encinas.
After roles in Spanish series like Velvet, spinoff Velvet Colección and Hermanos & detectives. Martin made his U.S. TV debut in 2020 in The Alienist as Narciso and later as Alfonso in Supernormal.
Phillipe — Pol Granch
Pol Granch returns as Phillipe, Caye’s ex-boyfriend who has a history of assault.
Elite is Granch’s biggest acting role to date. The talented musician shot to fame by taking part in the Spanish version of Simon Cowell’s talent show franchise The X Factor.
