When does FBI Season 3 start?

The premiere of FBI Season 3 will air on Tuesday, November 17 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT, in between the fall 2020 debuts of NCIS and FBI: Most Wanted. Subsequent episodes will then air weekly on Tuesdays in the same timeslot.

Though it has not been announced yet, FBI Season 3 is expected to be slightly shorter than the previous two editions of the series from Law & Order creator Dick Wolf. NCIS’ current seasons, for example, is set to be eight episodes shorter, as coronavirus safety measures make the show both more expensive and more time-consuming to produce. As such, a 16 or 18-episode Season 3 is likely for FBI.

What to expect from FBI Season 3

FBI is opening its latest season with a topical episode that will also introduce a new cast member to the CBS show. After taking a number of episodes off as maternity leave, FBI lead actor Missy Peregrym is back in the new season, meaning her character’s undercover mission is over.

FBI Season 3 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on CBS.
