Final Fantasy 7 Remake Lost Friends Quest Guide
Once you get to act three, you’ll need to complete at least two side quests in the Sector 7 slums in order to move the plot forward. One of the more annoying tasks requires you to find three white cats with pink collars for Betty, who can be found in the southern portion of the map in the center area of an apartment complex. To track the quest, go to the Map menu and cycle to the Quests tab with the shoulder buttons.
These cats are difficult to find since they are small and white in a sea full of NPCs and trash. The first cat is located at the north side under the metal beam lying on the sidewalk. These cats love chilling near trash and people, so that’s where you can find them. Once you interact with the cat, it will run away.
The second cat is found to the right of the entrance to the Seventh Heaven bar, up the stairs but before you enter. Again, just like the first cat, this one will run away and you’ll have to go after the third one.
The final cat is a bit more hidden than the other two and isn’t visible in plain sight. You’ll need to walk in front of the Beginner’s Hall where you’ll see a concerned citizen hanging out in front. You’ll know you are at the right spot when Tifa starts whispering at the cat to come out. The concerned citizen will tell you the cat stole her pastry and point you in the right direction. Head into the tube, and you’ll see the white cat waiting for you.
Once you find all of the cats, Cloud goes back to Betty thinking that they ended up empty handed. As it turns out, the cats just rushed back to the small girl after a spiky-blonde-haired soldier with a six-foot sword approached them.
