In case you were like me and wondered what “flap” Harper is talking about, I’ll spare you the Google search. The technical term is “corneal flap” and it is a result of having LASIK eye surgery.
Here’s a bit of information from LASIK’s official website:
Despite the nasty injury, Harper feels he’ll be ready when the team plays in Super Bowl 50.
“I took some medicine and got it cleared up,” he said. “I’ll be all right. We’ve got two weeks to get this team ready.”
He has an appointment scheduled with an eye doctor.
