Taught Coral Buddies Stonecrafting

The very first objective in this unlisted challenge is “Taught Coral Buddies Stonecrafting.” In order to do this, you must visit the Coral Buddies on their island, which is in the far northwest corner of the map, beyond Locke’s Lighthouse. The island itself isn’t shown on the map, so just estimate the location using this image.

Once you land there, start harvesting Stone from all the nearby rocks. You’ll need at least 300 Stone to move on with the challenge, so just keep going to town with your Pickaxe until you’ve got the mats you need.

Resources in hand, head to the little Stone structure on the border of the island shown here. Look at it, and press the designated button to “give 300 Stone.” This may take a few tries to get done without being killed by an opponent who also knows about his challenge, but it’s pretty easy nonetheless. If you keep getting Eliminated, try doing the challenge in Team Rumble.

After giving them your Stone, the Coral Buddies will build a Pyramid and the “Taught Coral Buddies Sonecrafting” step is done. Your reward is 25,000 XP.

Sculpt Coral Kingdom Border Monuments

While some thought the challenge was done, there’s actually one more step. After the initial pyramid is built, three monuments will spawn around the map as peach stone structures. Just head to these three spots around the Coral Cove area, whack at the suspicious Stone with your Pickaxe, and a Sphynx monument will be constructed in its place. Note that these monuments do not have to be found in a single match.

Coral Kingdom Border Monument 1

The first monument is here, on Locke’s Lighthouse island.

Just hit this Stone structure with your axe, and Monument one of three is yours.

Coral Kingdom Border Monument 2

The second border monument is here, on this inlet northwest of Pleasant Park.

Go there, and you’ll see a circle of rocks surrounding the Border Monument Stone. It’s pretty difficult to miss.

Coral Kingdom Border Monument 3

The third and final Coral Kingdom Border Monument is on the tiki island northwest of Sweaty Sands.

The monument sits on the eastern coast of the island, between some palm trees and near a big Stone Head. After that, the second 25,000 XP reward is yours, and this Secret Challenge for Week 6 is done.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile.
