Note: Previous iterations of this guide had Stone Statue locations that were incorrect. We’ve updated it with the right ones. Any other guides that have locations other than what we’re about to describe are, in fact, wrong.

There are two possible spots we’ve found that could be used to complete the emote at Stone Statues challenge: one is at Colossal Coliseum and the other is outside Coral Castle. The spot at Colossal Coliseum is right outside the location, at the southern entrance with the path leading into it.

You’ll see these two stone llama statues right outside. To finish the challenge, emote by pressing d-pad down, “B” on keyboard or by tapping “!” on Android.

In Coral Castle, the Stone Statues you’re looking for are located in this cove off to the west.

You’ll find a bunch of these tiki-like statues on the beach. Once again, perform your favorite emote by pressing d-pad down, “B” on keyboard or by tapping “!” on Android. If you’ve done it right, you’ll get a reward of 20,000 XP for your Season 5 Battle Pass.

Fortnite Week 9 Challenges

Emoting at Stone Statues is just one task on a larger list of new challenges going live in Fortnite on Thursday. As the mystery of Season 5 continues to evolve with the unexpected arrival of Predator, this latest batch of tasks seemingly asks players to do a little investigation of their own. Do these statues have any relevance to a hidden message or future live event? Do they harbor some kind of hidden power? Given what we’ve seen from Fortnite in the past, there isn’t anything that’s fully off the table.

In the meantime, here’s the full list of Week 9 Challenges as published in the in-game quest log:
