Especially if you’ve made it all the way to the Grand Finals, chances are you already know that each player can only participate in the server regions for which they have previously qualified. There’s no server hopping for those trying to get a second chance by playing in multiple lobbies.
How to watch the FNCS Grand Finals
As has been the case in qualifier and heat weeks, the best places to watch the FNCS Grand Finals are the official Fortnite Twitch and YouTube channels. These streams provide a broad overview of the action in English-speaking regions and showcase occasional leaderboard updates as well. With a player pool this large it’s a bit counterproductive to watch a single streamer, so these links ensure you don’t miss any of the big moments.
It also doesn’t hurt that those watching on Twitch have a chance to get some free cosmetics if they choose to watch while logged in with a Twitch account.
What is the FNCS Season 5 Grand Finals format?
The Season 5 Grand Finals format follows a two-round structure in which the points from both rounds are added together to create each team’s final score. The teams with the highest combined scores at the end of two rounds are eligible for cash prizing. Here’s how points are accumulated:

How to find the FNCS Grand Finals leaderboard and standings
Finding the latest leaderboards for Fortnite events can be a bit of a hassle, but Epic Games offers multiple methods for viewers and competitors to do so. To see the latest standings in-game, simply scroll over to the Competitive tab and select the tile for the FNCS finals in your region. If the event is underway, you’ll be able to press a button to view the leaderboard.
For those who prefer to watch the standings outside Fortnite itself, the Fortnite leaderboard website and Fortnite Tracker are two of the best methods for that. Just make sure you’re looking at the results for your region when you go there. If you’re watching the official Twitch or YouTube streams, the leaderboards will be periodically displayed on those broadcasts as well. In other words, while the process may be a little messy, there are lots of ways to monitor the FNCS Grand Finals.
