Fortbyte #28 Location - Accessible by Solving the Pattern Match Puzzle Outside a Desert Junkyard

Head to this location on the map to the Southeast of Paradise Palms and you’ll find a group of buildings that count as a Desert Junkyard. You’ll notice a set of colored titles behind an ordinary looking shed, which is where Fortbyte #28 is waiting. Once you pull the lever, the tiles start blinking and making sounds. You need to hit the tiles with your pickaxe in the same order that they lit up with the game progressively getting harder each round. More colored tiles get added each round to the Memory Game and you have as much time as you need to thwack those tiles.

You only have to complete the Memory Game once to get your piece of Fortbyte #28, which will be floating near the tally sign. It’s a fairly fun challenge to complete and requires a bit more thought than just landing at a random location and hoping for the best. Those old memory match games had me entertained for hours as a kid and it’s unlikely many current Fortnite players know about it. This is a great introduction to a gaming classic that tests your wit, memory and reflexes.

There are only eight pieces of Fortbyte left to be revealed before the event is over and all 100 are out there. With Season 9 coming to a close, expect something huge to keep players on their toes. The giant robot is almost complete and this week’s challenge missions has you collecting the last pieces of material to finish it up. Will it be ready for when the giant monster breaks out of his ice prison? We only have a few days to wait in order to find out?
