The in-game storefront is continually being updated, with cosmetics phasing in and out of stock. A costume might be available one day, but there’s no guarantee that it will still be around tomorrow, so you have to act fast if you see something you really want.
The idea is obviously to pressure you into spending premium V-Bucks and to keep you logging into the Fortnite servers every 24 hours to see what’s new.
To relieve some of that pressure for you, Newsweek has summarised everything that is available in the Item Shop on Friday, February 11.
‘The Book of Boba Fett’
Disney’s latest Star Wars spin-off, The Book of Boba Fett, just concluded with an action-packed finale.
To celebrate, the Item Shop has been updated with a variety of cosmetics themed around the titular bounty-hunter-turned-daimyo. You can wear his busted armor, strap on the iconic jetpack, wield his gaffi stick and soar around the skies in his craft (formerly known as Slave 1).
If you’re not the biggest fan of the Boba Fett look, then you can also buy skins for a generic stormtrooper, Fennec Shand or the Wookiee Krrsantan. The full collection is detailed here.
Silk Sonic
As we reported last week, an “Icons” bundle has been launched themed around the musical duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak (collectively known as Silk Sonic). In this collection, there are emotes, lobby tracks, harvesting tools and reactive outfits up for grabs.
Featured Section
The Featured section of the Item Store usually refreshes every couple of days. Right now, you can get the Bushranger and Celeste skins for 1,200 V-Bucks each.
Daily Section
The Daily section of the Item Store refreshes every 24 hours at 8 p.m. ET. At the time of writing, you can get the rare Scarlet Serpent outfit (which is essentially a modernized gorgon from Greek myth, reminiscent of Medusa).
Rep Your Team
Ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Fortnite is letting you show support for your favorite team.
You have a choice of several different uniforms in the “Rep Your Team” section (all priced at 1,500 V-Bucks), enabling you to pick your gender, race and body type. Irrespective of which one you pick, you can then customize their gear with different colors and player numbers.
Referees
There is a separate section in the Item Shop for gamers who want to cosplay as a referee instead. These outfits all cost 800 V-Bucks.
Love Is In The Air
Finally, the Valentine-themed “Love Is In The Air” collection (which we covered in our last Item Shop update) has been expanded with a few additional cosmetics, making it the largest section in the storefront right now.
