Where is Sharky Shell in Fortnite?

Sharky Shell is an unnamed point of interest located here. It’s the large land mass situated north of Coral Castle. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see a Sharky Shell landmark notification in the bottom-left area of the screen.

When you get there, you’ll find what looks like the remnants of a destroyed office complex. To complete this challenge, all you have to do is land at this spot and then finish the match within the top 25 of players in the lobby.

While surviving is obviously the intent of the challenge, some players have previously had luck cheating placement challenges by landing at the desired location in Team Rumble mode and leaving the match as soon as they reach their destination. This trick may not work following recent updates to the game, but it’s something worth trying at the start.

As far as completing the challenge the proper way is concerned, the easiest way to reach top 25 is to get a decent gun, hide in a secluded area and hope the circle rotations favor the spot you’ve chosen. It’s worth noting that, once you’ve made your initial descent to Sharky Shell, you’re free to go anywhere on the Battle Royale map to finish in the top 25. There are some small office nooks in the shell that might keep you concealed, but you’re probably best off getting out of there as soon as possible, given that everyone will be landing at the PoI to get this challenge done. That being said, once you know where Sharky Shell is, the rest might actually be easy.
