When does the Steve Aoki Party Royale event start?

The Steve Aoki, deadmau5 and Dillon Francus concert begins May 8 at 9 p.m. EDT. About 30 minutes before that time, the Party Royale lobby is expected to open, and that’s when players can hop on the servers and get themselves prepared for the festivities.

It’s worth noting that, taking the Marshmello, Travis Scott and Major Lazer events into account, most of these dance parties generally don’t last much longer than 20 minutes. As such, those who’d like to see the event unfold as soon as it happens should be in-game as close to the start time as possible. Maybe this Party Royale installment will be a little longer because it features three artists in back-to-back sets, but we don’t expect anything too extensive.

How to get Neon Wings

Thankfully, the coveted Neon Wings Back Bling will be available to all Fortnite players regardless of if they make it to Party Royale or not. All you’ve got to do is log into the game any time between May 8 at 6 p.m. EDT through May 11 at 10 a.m. EDT, and Neon Wings will be delivered to you automatically. It may take a little while for the cosmetic to be unlocked, but we expect it to be fairly instant, given that Epic wants players to wear it during the concert.

Pretty much anyone who’s in the habit of playing Fortnite these days will get their hands on Neon Wings with no effort at all.

Will there be a rebroadcast?

Yes! If you want to see the event just as it happened without watching a YouTube video, a rebroadcast has already been planned for May 9 at 2 p.m. EDT. If you happen to miss that second show, though, you may be out of luck.

That’s all there is to know about the Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis and deadmau5 iteration of Party Royale.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile.
