Instead of the traditional image teaser, Season 10 teaser 4 features a six-second clip of the Loot Lake Orb exploding. Over the past few days the Orb has continued to grow more unstable with increased sparks and new noises. The teaser essentially shows what happens when the energy inside the Orb finally gives way.
For all intents and purposes, this clip plus the three previous images strongly suggest the theme of Thursday’s Season 10 Battle Pass revolves around time travel. It’s assumed that players will be able to revisit old points of interest with previously unavailable features like rideable mechs. What remains unclear, though, is how the mechanics of something like this might work. Are there warp zones that take players to altered versions of the map? What current locations will change with the shifting of time? Luckily, all the answers to these questions and more are just a few hours away.
For those who missed the last three days of teasers, we’ve recapped those reveals below.
Teaser 1: “Think Back” - Dusty Depot Returns
Teaser 2: “Look Forward”- Mechs revealed and the symbol on the left suggests the Visitor may be returning with his Rocket.
Teaser 3: “Twist Time” - Alternate Versions of Drift and Ragnarok?
