Teaser 1: This image appears to be the rightmost prong of a trident. Especially given the aquatic theme established during Monday’s event, having at least one skin with a trident makes sense. The trident is most closely associated with the Greek god Poseidon and Roman god Neptune. For a more modern audience, the trident likely conjures up images of Aquaman. The licensing may be tricky, but it’s possible we could see Aquaman as a featured Battle Pass skin much like Deadpool was for Season 2.

Teaser 2: Here’s what the full trident looks like.

Teaser 3: This appears to be a miniature moon or maybe a new throwable weapon. Lots of fans made Despicable Me jokes when looking at this teaser for the first time, but, as much as we want it, we don’t expect to see any Gru DLC anytime soon. If Gru can shrink the moon, though, so can Fortnite!

Teaser 4: In teaser 4 we get a slightly clearer view that shows a suited figure carrying this moon-like object. It’s not quite clear if this suit is a spacesuit for intergalactic travel or a wetsuit for diving, but, given the established theme, we’ll settle on the latter. Although, Season 3 of Chapter 1 did feature a space theme, so maybe Chapter 2 Season 3 aims to make a callback to that first run.

Teaser 5: This one is brand new, and all we can see is a character’s leg. Luckily there’s already been a follow up.

Teaser 6: The image shows a character looking at what’s assumingly a new point of interest on the Season 3 map. It’s some kind of nautical shack or maybe even a pirate base.

Teaser 7: This image appears to show what might be the handlebars of a bike or scooter. Is a new vehicle on the way?

We suspect there will be more image-focused teasers posted throughout the day, but this is what we know so far.

In addition to these images, the Team_No_Sweat reddit account has been causing a stir as well, replying to fans as representatives of Fortnite’s infamous No Sweat Insurance. The locale made its Tilted Towers debut back in Season 8 of Chapter 1 and currently resides at Lazy Lake. Here are a few posts made by the account that have piqued fan interest.

“Thank you for your interest in No Sweat.

“Ever since the towering wall of water appeared, we’ve been flooded with calls asking if we cover water damage. That’s a great question! Stay dry out there!

“Also, we’ve concluded rainwater actually IS safe to consume.

“Edit: We’re actually not sure if it’s fresh or salt water. Don’t drink the water.”

“We appreciate your continued interest in No Sweat.

“While yes that towering wall of water is certainly tall, don’t worry you’re covered. We’ve been flooded with calls asking if we cover water damage, asking about boat rentals, and so on. All great questions!”

“While space may seem like a great escape to avoid getting drenched, No Sweat reminds you that it lies outside of our coverage area. Stick with us on the Island.

“Yes, there’s a towering wall of water there, and yes, you probably want to know if we cover water damage and boat rentals, and yes, we thank you for your interest in No Sweat.

“Stay dry out there.”

That last message in particular appears to be the most telling of all, as it may or may not suggest space is actually not a part of the Season 3 Battle Pass. The other messages only mention aspects like boat rentals and water damage, which may be references to the newly appeared watery storm circle and the inclusion of boats on the Chapter 2 map. We don’t expect these posts to tease anything particularly big, we’re just doing our best to keep you informed, and dry, as we inch toward the release of Season 3.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile. Season 3 is set to begin June 17.
