What time does Hitman 3 release on PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC, Switch and Stadia?
Given the laundry list of platforms on which Hitman 3 will be available, IO Interactive has opted for a simultaneous launch at a somewhat atypical time compared to most triple-A game unlocks. Instead of the 12 a.m. EST release time gamers may be used to, Hitman 3 is set to go live January 20 at 8 a.m. EST to better coordinate with the game’s international development teams. This release time is the same for all platforms on which Hitman 3 is available.
Are there preloads for Hitman 3?
If you’re playing Hitman 3 on PlayStation or Xbox, there should be preloads available. The source pre-launch guide does not detail precisely when these preloads will go live, but they should be accessible by the time you read this article. Here’s a quick recap of how to access preloads on both platforms.
Go to the Hitman 3 store page on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store and you should be given the option to download the game. On PS4 or PS5, scroll over to your games Library and select Hitman 3. The option to download the game should appear. On Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, Hitman 3 should be visible in the “ready to install” section of “Games & apps. "
There aren’t any preloads available on PC, and preloads aren’t necessary for the game’s streamable versions on Stadia and Nintendo Switch. Those who can preload, however, must leave 60-70GB of free space for the download.
What editions of Hitman 3 exist?
As far as editions are concerned, Hitman 3 and IOhave elected to keep things pretty simple. There are just two versions of the game: Hitman 3 Standard Edition and Hitman 3 Deluxe Edition.
Standard Edition ($59): Contains the base game. Deluxe Edition ($79): Contains the base game plus six Deluxe Escalations, in-game suits, items and weapons, a digital soundtrack, a unique introduction to each mission form the game’s director and a special artbook.
Those who pre-order the game get three suit, briefcase and weapon combos colored in white, red and black.
