First, however, HTGAWM Season 6’s most recent episodes will be streaming on the ABC website and Hulu. Episodes of the series come to the two streamers shortly after they air.
Fans then have to wait for a few weeks if they want to watch the show on Netflix. Season 5 of How to Get Away with Murder, for example, came to the streaming service on March 30, 2019, 30 days after the season finale aired on ABC. Season 4, meanwhile, came to Netflix on April 14, 2018–again, 30 days after the network air date of the finale.
If the final season of HTGAWM follows suit, the Netflix release date for Season 6 will be Saturday, June 13. The expected release time, meanwhile, is 00:01 a.m. PDT.
Different countries may have to wait a little longer until they get to see the final series of misadventures from Annalise Keating (played by Davis) and her class. The U.K., for example, only got Season 5 of HTGAWM on December 9, 2019, which means that they and other European countries may have to wait until the winter for the last episodes of the show to be streaming.
In most territories, however, fans can catch up on the show on Netflix. The streamer has the first five seasons of the show now ready for viewers to get up to speed before the last batch of episodes.
As for what users can expect from How to Get Away With Murder Season 6, the full ABC synopsis reads: “This season follows Professor Annalise Keating’s class through their final semester in law school – while the deception, fear and guilt binding Professor Keating to her students prove deadlier than ever.”
HTGAWM showrunner Pete Nowalk told TVGuide about the final season: “I’m going to try to answer as many as I can. We really put the audience and our fans who have kept watching on a rollercoaster, which just is one giant cliffhanger. Whenever we answer something, we give them another cliffhanger. So, I just feel good about finally saying, ‘Guess what? We’re going to end it and you’re going to get your answers and there will be no cliffhanger at the end. There will just be a story ending.’”
