When will Hunters Season 2 be out?
So far, the release date of Hunters Season 2 has not been revealed. Though the show has been renewed, filming is not believed to have begun yet. As such, we are unlikely to get any new episodes until summer 2021 at the earliest.
Season 2 of Hunters was announced via the Hunters Twitter page, in a tweet that read: “You heard it here first. #HuntersTV will be back for Season 2.”
Who is in the cast of Hunters Season 2?
WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the season finale of Hunters
At least one actor is not likely to be back for Season 2 after the events of the finale. Al Pacino, who played the main Nazi hunter in the first set of episodes, died in the finale of the show after he was taken out by Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman) after he was revealed to be an evil Nazi doctor in disguise.
Lerman, however, is expected to return alongside the rest of the Hunters, who include actors Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Tiffany Boone, Kate Mulvany, Saul Rubinek, and Carol Kane.
What will happen in Hunters Season 2?
The end of Hunters had one of the show’s biggest shocks left when it was revealed that not only was the Colonel (Lena Olin) alive but so too were Hitler and his partner Eva Braun. This means that Season 2 will see the Hunters probably trying to take down the leader of Naziism himself. And seeing as the series lost its biggest star following the departure of Pacino, the show’s version of Hitler could be a big name.
Speaking to Refinery29, co-showrunner Nikki Toscano said that Hitler and his band of Nazi clones would be a major part of Season 2. She teased: “I think that we should be worried about the entire Nazi community. If we’re forecasting anything, it’s that. And in theory it’s a throwback to Hitler youth.”
