On Tuesday, there was category called “College by Team Names” and the $200 answer was “Crimson Tide.” It should’ve been a gimme. (Alabama, obviously.) Only it wasn’t. The contestant Terry blurted out “What is Auburn?” Terry, nooooo!

After a firm “No” from Alex Trebek, Terry was immediately beat up by Alabama and Auburn fans alike. Just kidding, but we’re not ruling out the possibility entirely.
I guess that means Auburn will play Clemson in the national title game on Monday.
Yes, it was a silly mistake, but I’d like to see some college football fans give that “Barons and Baronesses” category a whirl.
