While the show’s hosts, Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik, and its numerous super champs are often the focus of discussion among the Jeopardy! community, the TV favorite’s website designers recently grabbed attention online.

Fans have noticed that the 404 error page on the show’s official website has been given an extra personalized touch to make things amusing for those who may run into a broken link or removed page while browsing.

Though we’ve all had the misfortune of being greeted with the message online, it’s rarely ever a particularly memorable experience, as the information is provided through stark text, sometimes with an accompanying robot illustration.

However, the Jeopardy! website has made things a lot more humorous, adding GIFs of past contestants reacting to having given incorrect responses to clues.

Maintaining branding throughout, the error messages reads: “OOOOH, SORRY! That page was not found and our judges have ruled that link either moved or is outdated. But you still have control of the board, so please enjoy the rest of JEOPARDY.COM!”

The page was earlier this month shared on a Jeopardy! Reddit page, where fans expressed their appreciation for the creativity.

“That is EXCELLENT,” wrote one, while another quipped: “I’ll take web pages for 404, Ken.”

Away from the internet, reruns of some of the more memorable Jeopardy! episodes are currently being aired for the remainder of the summer ahead of Season 39 debuting.

However, one Jeopardy! fan appeared to be unaware of this fact when they complained on Twitter about seeing Amy Schneider, who made history during Season 38 by earning the second-longest win streak in the show’s history.

The conversation started when Jennings commented on the news that he would be making a guest appearance on the season premiere of Jeopardy! co-host Bialik’s sitcom Call Me Kat.

After Jennings joked that he was “seein’ double,” the Twitter user in question sought answers for Schneider’s Jeopardy! presence.

“Why is Amy Schneider back on as a contestant? It is not fair to [the new] players,” the person commented. “I won’t watch Jeopardy! while she is on. I know she is your favorite winner.”

Addressing the Jeopardy! fan by their display name, Jennings responded: “It’s a rerun Dina! Settle down!”

Explaining their reason for the initial comment, the viewer wrote back: “My television highlights says it is new and only gives today’s date and no original date. That is why I challenge it.”

Season 39 of Jeopardy! is set to start airing in syndication from September 12. Jennings and Bialik will return to share hosting duties after being announced as the show’s new permanent presenters.

Schneider will be among the show’s top-scoring champs to return to the franchise later in the fall for the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.
